C-MAX Branding Identity

Visual Upgrade

People's impression of programmers remains in residence, rigorous, poor communication. However, most of the C-MAX teams are young and creative, the post-90/95s generation. C-MAX wants to change the stereotype of technology companies between brands and industry. The logo design is inspired by the international code. Code is a universal language without borders. Creative execution is the combination of code symbol elements "< >", "-", "→" and CMAX fonts. C-MAX company hopes to create a colorful world with high technology by the new logo.

One of the unique properties of the C-MAX Branding Identity is the use of color. While the black in the logo represents precision and technical expertise, the colorful auxiliary colors symbolize the company's aspiration to create a vibrant and technologically advanced world. This combination of black and color creates a visually appealing contrast that captures the attention of viewers.

The realization of the design involves various applications, including business cards, work cards, notebooks, and canvas bags. The process includes four-color printing and UV glazing, ensuring a high-quality and durable result. The specifications for the notebook are 180mmx130mm, while the canvas bag measures 320mmx390mm.

The C-MAX Branding Identity was created by a team of designers, including Fengnan Lin, Yingqiang Zhang, and Liqing Xian. Their collaboration and expertise contributed to the successful execution of the design, which reflects the company's values and vision.

The logo design is not only visually appealing but also functional. It incorporates commonly used symbols in coding to represent calculation and data movement. The "<>" symbols signify calculation, while the "-" symbol represents the movement of data. The arrow fonts convey a sense of order and represent the series of tasks performed by the company.

The C-MAX Branding Identity project was completed in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China, starting on January 1, 2020. The design team conducted extensive research to understand the target audience and challenge existing stereotypes. By using well-known coding symbols and reorganizing them in a new and innovative way, the design successfully communicates the company's brand and culture.

The C-MAX Branding Identity has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category in 2021. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
